Beginning at 10.30am, this will take competitors through Lanark Racecourse, Lanark Loch, the Lanark Moor Cycle Track, Whitelees Road and out to loop around the Old Smyllum House.
From 10.45am, there will be a 5k race for families and new runners alike which is aimed at waking you up and getting you going
The spokesman added: “This is a fabulous starter event as you can walk, run or jog round Lanark Racecourse and Lanark Loch – it’s up to you.”
And, from noon for eight to 15-year-olds, there’s an exciting 3k, off road, Junior Duathlon where participants compete in two 500m runs either side of a 2k bike ride. The race route goes around Lanark Racecourse and the Lanark Moor Cycle Track.
