Old Firm Legends match abandoned due to punch up
LAST Sunday’s action-packed Celtic v Rangers legends clash in Carluke was marred by a late punch up which saw the game abandoned after 82 minutes.
A Celtic player, furious at a challenge by a Rangers man, swung a punch which missed the player but connected with the referee’s face.
There then followed a mass melee involving other players – including stars like Andy Goram and Frank McGarvey – before calm was restored and the referee led the players off with the score at 5-2 for Celtic.
