MSP claims Out-of-Hours stats ‘doctored’
That question has been put to NHS Lanarkshire by a local Member of the Scottish Parliament who claims that the health authority’s statistics used to justify the decision somehow ‘lost’ over 800 patients seeking medical help from the Lanark-based night-time and weekend service.
The 2013 statistics used during the public consultion exercise on the reform of county-wide Out-of-Hours GP cover have been seriously thrown into doubt by Claudia Beamish, the South of Scotland Labour MSP.
