The court also heard that Shah had left a bloody footprint on her stomach and near the victim’s ear.
The prints the police found matched those of an Adidas Lin trainer, which CCTV footage showed Shah to be wearing on the day Ms Farquar was killed.
Shah denied owning trainers such these but, police found that Shah’s girlfriend had bought him that type of footwear a few months before the incident.
