Local survey shows badly fitted car seats are risking lives
Two car safety clinics organised by East Dunbartonshire Council as part of Scottish Road Safety Week found half the seats were either incorrectly fitted or were incompatible. A small number had major faults.
The majority of errors related to the seatbelt being too loose, not routed correctly or the child being too heavy for the seat.
