Good sports are needed to help with consultation
Work has been taking place on a new Culture, Leisure and Sport Strategy, which will shape the future provision of services, assets and activities in East Dunbartonshire - ensuring they continue to make a positive and improving contribution towards good health, well-being, learning and social inclusion among local communities.
East Dunbartonshire Council, the Leisure and Culture Trust and other Community Planning Partnership partners are running a consultation exercise until Friday, September 5 to support the new co-ordinated framework.

An online survey is available on the council website - www.eastdunbarton.gov.uk - and a series of interactive workshops are being held.
A workshop has already been held in Bearsden and they continue with:
* Wednesday, August 20 - 6.30pm-9.30pm - Bishopbriggs War Memorial Hall

The workshops are open to all and will give people with an interest in culture, leisure and sport an opportunity to debate and discuss the direction that the forthcoming strategy should take. Should you wish to attend, please e-mail [email protected] or call 0141 578 8600.
Supplementing the online questionnaire and workshops will be a number of pop-up sessions throughout East Dunbartonshire and other events with groups such as school children and older people.
