The West Highland Way is being revamped with new funding to remove barriers and improve access for all.

NatureScot is funding almost £111,000 of improvements to the path network, including many on Scotland’s Great Trails such as the Way, right on our doorstep.

Bridget Jones of NatureScot said: “The Covid-19 pandemic has demonstrated how important a nature-rich environment is for our physical and mental wellbeing.

"This funding will provide very welcome improvements in terms of upgrading well-loved routes like the Way.”
